I am loving that I have never before been as prepared with awesome gifts for my girls as I am this Christmas.
I don't know if they have chosen easier gifts this year, or if their list's were just more specific or if it is that they are getting older and I understand what they want a little more. Whatever the reason, I am so excited to see their adorable little faces when they open their gifts tomorrow morning.
I am notoriously bad at wrapping gifts but like everything else that manifests itself in my new suburban home, even wrapping presents was easier! Not only was it easier, but I rocked it out. I mean ROCKED IT OUT.
Better wrapping than I have ever done before...EVER. I made perfect corners. I didn't rip anything while I was wrapping it. AND I did markedly better than Drew and that has never happened.
Although speaking of Drew, poor Drew, he isn't on top of his game these past few days because he slipped on a bit of ice on our front porch and twisted his back the wrong way. Which I just managed to do as well a few minutes ago, even though I KNEW it was there.
I digress, back to my bragging about my awesome wrapping prowess.
You be the judge, the presents I wrapped below......
The presents from Santa that Drew wrapped..... Actually, I realize that you can't tell the precision in my wrapping from these pictures and I also realized that making comparisons and being competitive with a loved one for personal gain is not what the spirit of Christmas is all about. I don't need anyone to tell my mine are better anyway because I know they are. MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
